How are content creators paid?

Available payment methods

You can pay creators through the following options:

Make a single payment with a credit, debit or prepaid card, or with the balance in your MercadoPago account.

🟡 MercadoPago's standard fee applies.

If you have an available balance in your Montu Wallet ("Billetera Montu"), you can use it to pay without going through external payment gateways.

🟢 No additional fee applies.

Montu groups all of the month's payments and issues you a single invoice at the end of the period.

🔴 A 10% surcharge applies for administrative handling.

Only available for companies on an Enterprise plan.

Montu will never ask you to transfer money directly to a content creator.

If a creator asks for a payment outside the platform:

🔔 Don't continue the collaboration, and open a support ticket right away from the help chat.

This protects both parties and makes sure Montu can act in case of non-fulfillment.
